Lynda was born in Montreal and she now lives in Ottawa with her husband Marc. Lynda has spent her summers at her family cottage on Lake Temagami since she was a child. For Lynda, creating art is an emotional experience. Lynda is a passionate landscape painter who enjoys expressing herself with strong brush strokes and vibrant oil colours. She feels that art allows her to absorb and interpret the beauty of all the seasons and particularly of northern wilderness landscapes.
Lynda feels her journey as an artist is an ongoing discovery of the beauty in the many different Canadian landscapes and a celebration of life. Lynda says, “If the viewer feels inspired by my art and makes an emotional connection with one of my paintings, that is when I know that I have achieved my goal.”
The couple enjoys traveling and spending time at their off grid, wilderness cottage in Northern Ontario. Quite often, Marc’s stunning landscape photos of Northern Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia and Quebec inspire Lynda to paint.
Lynda has studied art at the Ottawa School of art and with individual instructors in Ottawa. Her work is found in private collections across Canada, the USA and overseas.
